`Destination Meghalaya' for education will be our special agenda. We will have a special initiative on Human Capital Development for ensuring employability of the youth with special focus On the school and college drop outs.

We are committed to providing good road connectivity across the state, apart from adequate water and power supply, so as to ensure a decent standard of living to all citizens and also provide for adequate affordable housing for the poor.

We are committed to enhancing the sum of the insurance cover for the Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) over and above the insurance cover of Rs 5,00,000 lakhs per family announced by the Central Government.

We are committed to providing jobs spaces to youth and women through the 'enterprise facilitation centers'. We will launch a new innovative programme 'Entrepreneurship Program Through Digital Business (ETDB) to nurture young people as 'digital entrepreneurs' by enabling digital infrastructure to connect them with the markets and business in the sectors of tourism, hospitality and agriculture.

We are committed to 'sustainable agriculture 'and gradual shift to 'natural and organic farming' so as to ensure a remunerative price to the farmers in the national and international markets for their produce. We are aware of the pressures that our farmers are under. In recognition of their struggle, the Government promises to provide a first-of-its kind 'seed capital assistance' to every small and marginal farmers in the State during every agriculture season.
